Acrylic Welding - hot air, hot wedge & impulse welders for awnings & shades.

Hot air welding, hot wedge welding and impulse welding are heat-sealing processes that can also be used to seam acrylic fabrics for the fabrication of awnings, boat covers, shade covers, etc. Miller Weldmaster offers a special laminated tape for the acrylic welding process. This acrylic welding tape has a very strong adhesive on both sides. The adhesive is heat activated followed by pressure from the weld rollers, producing a very strong bond.

112 Extreme™ - The 112 Extreme™ hot air welder is able to produce awnings and covers on a larger scale. The 112 Extreme™ will improve acrylic welding and PVC welding production times, while reducing operator error. Appearance is near perfect with the specially designed vacuum system and Miller's Extreme Seam Tape™.

• The 112 Extreme™ is available with the Ultra-Sonic Cutter. This cutter will cleanly cut fabric leaving no frayed edges on your fabric.

Impulse Extreme™- With the Miller Weldmaster’s Extreme Seam Tape™ and new impulse technology, the Impulse Extreme™ creates the strongest awning and marine cover seams in the industry. The Impulse Extreme™ is able to weld PVC and Acrylic fabrics along with many others.
