Miller Road Show 2007 Year in Review
As the snow is starting to fly here in northeast Ohio I am reminded that the end of 2007 is here. This past year was a very successful year for our Road Show which started in January and ended in December. The Road Show had a very busy and tight 12 month schedule that I was truly proud to be apart of.
The Miller Road Show left the balmy Ohio weather in late January 2007 due south. I had a chance to visit many customers in the southeast and enjoy some much warmer temperatures then back at home. I then traveled west through Texas, enjoyed some great BBQ and met many great locals. The Road Show then made its journey to Arizona through California and to the upper North West, which if you have never had a chance to visit is truly spectacular. From Washington I traveled South East to Utah, Colorado, and eventually making it to Las Vegas, Nevada just in time for our IFAI trade show. The Road Show then traveled through the great state of New Mexico and caught the South West corner of Texas at which time made its journey back home to Ohio.
Unbelievably the Miller Road Show traveled through 23 different states, logged more than 29,000 miles, visited well over 200 customer sites, and I ate more truck stop hot dogs with coffee and twizzlers (my secret recipe) then most people do in a life time! The Road Show had its ups and downs and a few generator problems, but it is the Miller equipment that stood the test of time and all the miles that battered the machinery in every bump. It is a strong testimonial to the employees here at Miller Weldmaster who build the best machines in the world.
I would like to personally thank all of the over 200 companies I had the opportunity to visit this year. Each one welcomed me with open arms and I like to think I made many friends along the way.
Miller Weldmaster will keep you posted for the upcoming 2008 Road Show season which will be bigger and better then before!
