Standard Sewing Machine Parts
Whether you are an expert or new to sewing, there is a list of standard parts needed for a sewing machine to run smoothly and be operational. Below is a list of those parts.
Needles
Needles are a standard part used in any sewing machine. The Digitran needles are industrial-grade style needle that is meant for thicker material being sewn at a high rate of production.
Needle Screw
The needle screw is used to set the needle into position. These are small and can easily be lost. However, they are vital to keeping the needle secure during operation. Keeping these on hand will help to ensure no downtime.
Bobbin
Bobbins are used to hold the additional thread. It lives below the needle and works with the top thread to produce a secure stitch. Having multiple bobbins allows you to always be prepared and ready for a project. You can wind a new bobbin while operating the Digitran Sewing Machine to always have an extra one available.
