Production Manager

Production Manager

The Manager of Production and Operating Workers will oversee front-line employees ensure efficiency and quality in production operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Hires and trains front-line employees.
  • Organizes, directs, and oversees the schedules and work of front-line employees.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with other managers and supervisors to coordinate activities in and among departments
  • Collects, evaluates, analyzes, and assesses production data.
  • Regularly inspects and evaluates products for quality and defects.
  • Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in the process, materials, equipment, or skills.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices including those related to safety and health.
  • Develops and implements procedures and strategies to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Collaborates with other departmental managers to develop and execute budgets

Bills Of Materials (BOM) Routing Specialist

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Manages Manufacturing Bills of Materials (BOM) form engineering releases.
  • Audits Bills of Material information from engineering for accuracy and completeness, specifically: BOM linkages, Routings, and BOM item types.
  • Identifies and determines BOM product structure routings and component level manufacturing requirements.
  • Monitors and follows through on incorrect routing corrective action requests (CAR).
  • Provides quick response on expedite routing needs so the team can reply to expedite requests from internal customers timely.
  • Provides support to the manufacturing process through accurate management and maintenance of routing and facility databases on an ongoing basis.
  • Provides immediate support to production issues related to Manufacturing BOM’s and routing structures used.
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by Management, recognizing that priorities can and will shift quickly to adjust to the demands of other departments for the overall benefit of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS:

We are accepting applications and resumes for a Full Time Manual Machinist with producing quality machined parts on our manual lathe and milling equipment. We have manufactured our equipment from the ground up in a clean and stable work environment for over 45 years.

Machinist Qualifications: Must have a minimum of five years work experience operating manual milling and lathe equipment. Basic hand tool experience is required which includes tape measure reading, blue print reading, dial calipers, micrometers, drilling, and tapping of mild steel, aluminum and stainless materials. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs a wide range of skilled repetitive mechanical assembly operations in support of production projects.
  • Assembles, modifies, reworks, and/or reassembles production components utilizing drawings, pick tickets, process documentation, and/or verbal instructions.
  • Prepares and utilizes basic hand tools and machines including but not limited to power screwdriver, ruler, solder iron, clamp machine, heat gun, vise, solder pot, crimpers, pinning machine, and automatic wire strippers.
  • Cleans parts prior to production use as required.
  • Identifies wires with use of basic color code sequence.
  • Participates in first time production runs of new products.
  • Supports cycle count activity, inventory handling, and inventory transactions following established material procedures.
